Genesis Acoustic Suspension
MUCH LIKE A RACE CAR'S SUSPENSION SYSTEM, OUR ACOUSTIC SUSPENSION PROTECTS GENESIS PRODUCTS FROM FLOOR- OR STRUCTURE-BORNE VIBRATIONS
The Genesis Acoustic Suspension features a high molecular weight acrylic frame, neoprene shock absorbers tuned to the precise weight of the product, and stainless steel spikes to anchor the suspension frame to the ground.
With a resonant frequency of about 3 Hz—below the audible frequency, and below where it will affect imaging and soundstage—our Acoustic Suspension ensures your Genesis Loudspeaker components will be uncompromised by external vibrations​.
The Genesis Acoustic Suspension system comes standard on all floor-standing models of premium amplifiers and loudspeakers (Genesis Prime even has its own system), as well as our Servo-Bass Amplifier systems and the Phono PreAmp. It is also available as an optional upgrade to other products and older Genesis loudspeaker models.
